The Cedi is being constructed at Sae Taw Win II Dhamma Center in the Granton/ Sebastopol area in Northern California. The Cedi is a replica of the Su-Taung-Pyait Cedi in Thingyan Kyun, Burma. The Main Cedi will be 18 feet and the companion Cedis will each be 6 feet in height. The main Cedi will be decorated with twenty-eight small Buddha images and white glass mosaic on the surfaces of the five terraces. We began construction of the main Cedi in October. This is a rare opportunity for Buddhists from all over the world to participate in the building of a Burmese Pagoda, the first of its kind in Northern California.
